AMBASSADOR MASSIMO FERDINANDI

After his university law studies, Ambassador Massimo Ferdinandi has covered the role of CEO and member of the board of directors of few MNCs. During these assignments the Ambassador had the possibility to reside about 20 years in Asia.

Since 2007 he is collaborating with the University of Bologna where he is currently holding the professorship of “Managing Diversities in the Internationalization Processes” and he is the author of several books about anthropology and management.

He joined the Foreign Service in 2010 as Ambassador at Large and he initiated few economic development activities for the Republic of San Marino.  In 2012 he was appointed as Ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

From year 2014 to 2016 he collaborated with the Ministry of International Economic Cooperation of the Republic of San Marino to structure educational activities in the field of the internationalization processes. He is currently holding the position of Scientific Director of the Course “Internationalization Processes” at the University of San Marino.

In March 2017 he received the mandate from the Congress of State to operate at international level, with the support of the Consular and Diplomatic Corps of the Republic of San Marino, in order to structure and stimulate the activities aimed to the attraction of new tourism flows and foreign direct investments.

From 11 October 2017 he is the Ambassador of the Republic of San Marino accredited also to the ASEAN (Association of South-East Asian Nations).
