The Embassy monitors and reports on political, economic and social developments in Indonesia, with a particular focus on the fast growing tourism sector. The promotion of trade and cultural exchanges between San Marino and Indonesia and the promotion of San Marino are the main activities of the Embassy.

The Republic of San Marino, inscribed on the World Heritage List by UNESCO and recognized as the oldest Republic in the world, is a hidden jewel in Europe which is increasingly attracting the attention of Indonesian international travellers. Due to this growing popularity, the Embassy has launched a program to distribute tourist information to local tour operators.
